Monticello, President Thomas Jefferson’s plantation, is a National Historic Landmark in Virginia. Since 1924, it has been maintained and open to the public with the dual mission of preservation and education. Creative Kong developed a campaign design to not only get the word out of their major renovations, but to encourage the general public to think of Monticello as a destination rather than a “pit stop”.

For over 30 years, TLIE has offered superior professional liability protection to Texas lawyers and judges. Unlike commercial insurance companies, TLIE is a member-owned, Texas-based association with a long history of proven industry experience and unmatched customer service.
Challenge
The client wanted an integrated marketing campaign that introduced a new look and feel to help gain new members without alienating current ones. Among law firms who had TLIE members, current membership averaged two members per firm.
Solution
Small firms of 20-30 lawyers were targeted with the goal of increasing the number of members per firm. Being true to the organization’s positioning statement and attributes to ensure brand consistency, we developed fresh concepts for print and web advertising as well as direct response pieces that would stand out from the staid creative in industry publications and websites. We also produced a tradeshow booth and materials that popped in a crowd of stuffy similarity.
Print and banner ads ran on local and state bar association publications and websites. A series of direct response pieces were sent to over 10,000 lawyers.
Results
The campaign immediately resulted in increased inquiries and has been refreshed annually since 2010. TLIE has seen an increase in retention and enrollment year-over-year since its inception, now exceeding 5,000 members.

Packaging
Sweet Bee needed packaging for their granola. They wanted packaging that was bright and cheerful, something to brighten up the day. We used the hexagon (inspired by a bee hive) as a start. There are three varieties.

Part kitsch, part dish, all apron. The Casserole Queens, Sandy Pollock and Crystal Cook, started a fresh-from-scratch casserole delivery service in Austin, Texas and they needed several collateral pieces. One of out favorites was this business card. It fit right in to the 50's persona they were trying to project.
